I can't believe I have left it so long to write a testimonial about mmaeb.... ! Firstly, her photos.... hers is a stream that is a testimonial to the wonder of the world. Through Mmaeb's photos I see a world of beauty, wonder, peace and of opportunities to be siezed. Up until recently she has been shooting with a point and shoot, which just goes to prove that it is great photographers that make great pictures, not great cameras. As a person Mmeab is kind, generous in her support and honest in her opinions and inspires me often, reminding me to enjoy life, do the things I am afraid of, and of what true beauty is. She is someone who I am proud to call a friend, even though we have yet to meet (so she had better get her ass over to England next year as promised !)

There are so many things I love about Michelle's work, but her exuberance is top among them. Her use of color, her utter fearlessness in experimentation and the way she relishes the photographic opportunities of her surroundings all contribute to a photostream so diverse I can always find something that speaks to me. I love watching her toy with a set of shots or a single photo, trying this and that, giving us all a front-row seat to the evolution of her art. What can I say MMaeb is exceptional! From the beauty and artistry that she puts into her work, to the way she takes on board comments and thoughts of others, seeking to take her own artistic development in new ways. And then there's MMaeb the person, who is always there to give you a hug, even though you're a few thousand miles away and who's insighful comments and discussion threads are joy to read. I can't believe I haven't written a testimonial for Michelle sooner. I've been a fan of hers since I first came across her in the FSPSG group. What first attracted me to her stream was that she wasn't into photographing just one certain thing, she photographs her world, her soul and her thoughts for us -- those three ingridients together result in a delicious stream that you are sure to find something you adore if you look around. Not to mention she's a fantastic person. I'm very glad to have known her for as little time as I have here on Flickr; she's wonderful.

I haven't known Michelle for long but I've easily come to adore her. She's warm, supportive, insightful and charming, I'm so glad to be her friend. What I find most striking about her work is her fascination with light. From huge, dramatic urban landscape scenes dazzling with thousands of bulbs to her latest study of a singular lamp, one of her obvious talents is making light dance. I say "one" because after a look into this talented woman's stream you will find she's gifted in many arts: singing and painting to name two. An expressive, graceful, introspective self-portrait artist, she shows many sides of herself within her photographs- all of them beautiful. She's a woman who can't bear to live without tall trees, I'm so glad I don't have to do without her. PS< I could look at her face forever.
