A long overdue testimonial for my dearest friend whom I met on flickr. I feel very honoured to know this beautiful, elegant and highly intelligent lady who encouraged me right from the beginning and has always had the time and energy to continue doing so. I just want to say that, in terms of photography, Leena's love of nature and a sense of what is beautiful shines through in each of her fantastic images. Her capture of places and flowers in particular, which feel alive and are luscious in colour, are not ones to be missed, as are her macros, which speak volumes about her skill as a photographer and her ability to pay attention to the finest of detail. What is even more amazing is that Leena's kind, caring and loving nature emanates through each piece that she produces so masterfully. I find myself magnetised by her amazing personality. The real reward of being on flickr is attaining Leena's true friendship. I first met Bluebird here on flickr, quite by accident, I was new to this photo sharing insanity, and she guided me, and taught me the ropes, motivated me with her own photography, and always commented favorably on mine. Leena invited me to different groups, and nominated me for countless awards, and always with a kind word and, I know, a smile. At first I thought, how could this sweet woman take on so much time appreciating what I do? then I found out that she was spending this kind of interest, and appreciation on a countless number of other flickr friends. Her endless energy, effort, and caring for other people, is evident in her photostream. She can post an image, and in 30 minutes. a hundred flickr friends will crowd her stream with a hundred comments and awards.
