Seek, Observe, and Shoot. I do not alter my photos and often do not even crop them. What I take is what you see. Nature, textures, letters, food, and old metal have been my obsession this past year.

Thumbing through my dad's stacks of art books in the early 70’s (Van Gogh, Matisse, and all the masters)...this was my idea of fun in my early childhood. Escaping into small rooms to draw objects that I could hold in my hand was my idea of getting away. I felt time stop, sitting on porch steps, seeing colors, shapes, textures, and lines move around the yard. I’ve taught myself to observe and listen to the world around me. My early experiences became illustrated in my fine art, still lifes, photography, paintings, and other tangible fragments of my world. I feel there is so much I can’t say, but so much I can turn into art.
