Retired academic with a life long interest in capturing images. Eclectic tastes from scenery, I especially love mountains, forests and running water, sunsets (I've probably taken thousands), to birds and animals and all kinds of folk and cultural events. I'm very fond of food and wine and visit markets when away from home and enjoy sampling and cooking with local ingredients.

I travel at home and abroad in a motorhome and have flown to and travelled intercontinentally.

Now I'm retired and have a decent camera and lens and desktop computer capable of cataloguing and editing my vast collection of photos (around 190,000) I hope to produce a number of collections and albums that further illustrate my interests.
