My name is Paul and I'm a professional musician who lives in the DC Baltimore area. As you can imagine, it's been quite a rollercoaster of emotions since my older brother left his old 35mm Pentax home 25 years ago.

I had looked up to him so much when I was younger; he was always so passionate about photography and seeing the world through his lens gave me an entirely different perspective on life. But then one day he just packed up and left without any warning...so there went my photography dreams as well.

But recently, something unexpected happened - I got a new Canon 30D and Canon 5D! The moment I held them in my hands felt like Christmas morning all over again - but this time for adults! This was kind of like being given another chance to explore the art of photography; only this time with better technology than what my brother had used before.

So here I am today, ready to start learning how to use these amazing cameras properly and create some truly stunning photographs that will hopefully make people stop and appreciate the beauty around them (and not just me!). So please feel free to check out my photos whenever you want - critiques are welcome too (just be nice). Who knows? Maybe someday soon we'll all be looking at each other through our own lenses instead of screens!
