I'm a neonatologist ( baby doctor) at West Virginia University Children's Hospital in Morgantown, WV. I also have an academic appointment as Professor of Pediatrics at WVU.

I've been taking pictures since I was 8 yrs old. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie of some sort. My first real camera was an Olympus OM-1, which I still have & it still works, though I haven't shot with film in over 5 yrs.

I'm still an Olympus junkie, I have an E-520 ( wow!!!), & a C-5050 (a great camera). My E-300 now is in the hands of my daughter Emily.

My favorite subjects are...just about anything. I've become interested in HDR, because, done well, it can make the ordinary look extraordinary ( though can make the extraordinary look scary)
