Miyabi Arashi Taiko (Beautiful Storm) is a traditional Japanese drumming group (taiko) founded in 1997 by Moko Igarashi. The group's objective is teach taiko to Japanese and foreign students, especially younger students, and through playing taiko together help students gain deeper understanding of Japanese culture. With Moko Sensei's dedication and ever intensifying energy over the past 10 years, the group has created over a thousand taiko enthusiasts and followers all over the world, and Miyabi Arashi has become a well known taiko performance and education group in Japan and the only group with mixed Japanese and foreign players.
