Computer Geek by Day..... Photography Student by Night.
I'm not the "usual" photographer, I didn't really get drawn to photography till the "digital" age started taking off. I started with a simple Olympus Point & Shoot and then moved to a Digital Canon SLR on a suggestion by a photographer friend of mine about 4 years ago.
My photos are not as artistic as others that I've been drawn to as I have a technical background and don't have an artistic background as most who take photography. I find that learning the technical side of photography is easy, but it's hard for someone to show you the artistic side as it's all on interpretation of what you see, so I'm learning as I go.
I haven't found my photography "nitch" yet as I have so many interests in my life as my photographs will show. I enjoy taking portraits as well as just going and getting close to the wildflowers that I see during my walks in the woods.
UPDATE: Well I'm back in the swing of things. Sorry for the lack of updates as the past couple of months. There is no real excuse other then I've been too lazy to post any of my work. BIG news is I've switched to the "dark side". Well not really the dark side, but after years of shooting with Canon I've switched to Nikon. It's taking a little getting used to, but I love my camera.
It's good to be back with a camera in my hand.
