My introduction to photography was via my Dad - he used to be quite a keen amateur photographer and I think I picked it up from him, getting lessons on his old Pentax SLR from the age of about 10 or so. When he gave up the old Pentax SP1000 for a Canon EOS, I somehow appropriated the Pentax still have it and use it.

I only became passionate about photography when my wife and I bought a DSLR. Now it's my main hobby, or perhaps it could be better described as an obsession.
