I used to live in Los Angeles, and enjoyed it very much. Prior to Southern California I lived in San Francisco.... Now I live in Paris, France. I do not speak French (yet) so if someone is willing to help me I promise to be the most diligent student.

 

I love living back in Europe but unfortunately I do not have much free time to enjoy it the way I would like to. Prior to moving to Paris in the summer 2015 I lived for almost 4 years in Mannheim, Germany. I loved it very much and still miss it. Prior to moving to Europe I briefly lived in Western Connecticut on the New York State line. I tried to cope with the East Coast, winter, and the rural environment. I never imagined that I would ever live in such a place but the funny thing is that I think that I kind of liked it, at least for as long as it lasted. I am over 18 years old and if you want to see what I look like - here you go:

 

 

One of my passionate hobbies is photography. I started with film SLR and now am shooting exclusively digital.

 

My digital cameras are Nikon D70, D90 and D750 (which I just bought a month ago - what an amazing camera...)

Early on I used Nikon Coolpix 995

My film camera is Nikon N90S

I also take sometimes picture with my iPhone 6s, which I almost never post on Flickr except for those of the historical flood in Paris in 2016.

 

I use Nikkor lenses:

28-70mm 3.5-4.5 D

70-210mm 4-5.6 D

70-300mm 4-5.6 G

50mm 1.8 G

60mm 2.8 D micro (macro lens)

18-200mm 3.5-5.6 G VR ED DX

I am very happy that all my lenses from the N90 SLR days fit perfectly the digital SLR.

 

I have a telephoto lens from Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.7 DX and wide angle Tokina 12-24mm DX Pro.

 

I love using Photoshop in my photography and sometimes alter reality to my tastes. It is a lot of fun! In that respect I am not a "purist" and believe that it is perfectly ok to do with software what "the old masters" did with developers and other chemistry...

 

My other hobby is traveling and I take tons of pictures during my trips in Europe and to South America.
