For me photography is a vision, a vision of making the ordinary extraordinary. The images begin in my mind: I allow myself to sail between thoughts of lights and shadows, lines, shapes, textures and perspectives. For me it is like drawing without a pencil. Spending hours to improve my skills, being motivated simply for the love of it.

My first camera led to hours of experimenting with shutter speed and aperture. I explored the world through a lens, with far more admiration than any lectures at school. When I take my camera and separate myself from reality I am most happy. This process affected how I express myself visually. It was always about more than just beautiful composition or the images themselves. It was about the thoughts I put into those images and the mood, feelings and motivation. It still reminds me how I started in my own way to communicate with people through my work.
