Since April 2006 digital photography is one of my favorite hobbies. Being curious and all-round interested with much delight for taking images and edit them (not too much:), I luckily found flickr in June 2007. Beyond my basic knowledge I want to broaden my mind and view and to learn more and more about photography. Therefore I´d be pleased with your criticism and all kind of hints. I like to take pictures of every kind of people. The more candid the better. Contemporary history, art, architecture and urban everyday life belong to my pet subjects.
Every day I´m overwhelmed by your outstanding, creative and inspiring photography and touched by the support and kindness I´m finding at flickr. It´s fantastic to be a flickrite! But you might get addicted very badly...
I´m a German (Berlin/Munich) and since June 2009 living in Göteborg, Sweden.

Neugierig, vielseitig interessiert und mit viel Lust aufs Fotografieren und Bildbearbeiten. Digitalfotografie ist seit ein paar Jahren mein Lieblingshobby. Über die bisher gewonnenen Grundkenntniss hinaus will noch viel mehr lernen. Deshalb freue ich mich auch über konstruktive Kritik und Tipps. Am liebsten fotografiere ich Menschen. Andere Favoritthemen sind Zeitgeschichte, Kunst, Architektur und der Alltag in der Stadt.
Ich komme aus Deutschland (Berlin/München) und lebe seit 2009 in Göteborg, Schweden.

Barbara's documentary street photography are so reminiscent of William Klein, her photography does not rest on the picturesque or on nostalgia but on the desire to capture the individual essence of each person, so that the viewer can share there trials, hopes and successes. She is a consummate professional with each photo has a warmth and affection for the subject, and a divine mastery of technique. She has a genuine cinematic magic, with girls dancing through fountains and a man peering at an art work are two images ingrained on my soul, Barbara's stream is a delight from start to finish.
