Hi. I'm Missie. I am a mother, a wife, a CHRISTIAN, and a wannabe photographer. My family is my world. I have a son in the Army, and am very proud of him. I have a beautiful daughter who lights up my life, and I have a wonderful husband who encourages me in my photography all the time. I am also the crazy cat lady. We have 6 cats who are VERY often my subjects for photographing. I am so thankful for all I have.

I received a Nikon D3000 for Christmas a couple years ago,and I am having a BLAST with it. Most of my pics posted here are taken with it. The others are with my old point and shoot Canon Powershot A560.

I love taking macro pics of just about anything, but nature shots are probably my favorite. I also love trying to capture my cats on "film".

Please be gentle with criticism. I am trying to learn as I go, so if you see something I can improve on, please say so..nicely.
