A happy and proud Indonesian | Spent 11 years in New Zealand | Lives in Jakarta | Happiest when she writes, travels, and take photos.
I started taking photos when I got my first digital pocket camera, a 4mega-pixel Canon PowerShot S40 back in 2001. I have upgraded my digital camera since then to a Canon PowerShot S45 - after the S40 was broken thanks to a pet-monkey at home who was very quick in grabbing the camera while I was taking a picture of him. Later in 2007, I upgraded again to a smaller and more compact Canon IXUS 850IS.
In August 2010, I decided to purchase my first DSLR, a Nikon D90, after a friend lent me his Nikon D80.
A life explorer, I am happiest when I travel, write and taking photos. Oh, and being 30 metres deep in the ocean.
