My name is Joel Misita, and I am the sole proprietor of Misita Designs. I'm an artisan, and I do architectural and sculptural metalwork and woodwork. I value functional and artistic beauty, as do the clients who commission me.

I live in Natchez, Mississippi (the oldest town on the Mississippi River) with my wife Catherine and our two young kids. My personal interests include extreme gardening, refurbishing a mid-20th century wooden sailboat (with dreams of seaworthiness), tooling around the U.S. with my family in our '78 Airstream.
