I was starting to write this testimonial many times as i wanted to make it right... because i treasure Christiane very much as a friend and as an artist.. it has been a while since we met with Christiane in one of those arrogant score groups where less talented people are trying to lecture more gifted and respectively more vulnerable ones.. somehow we liked each other work and since then i visit Christiane daily and i am always amazed... i have to add that i disappeared completely from Flickr for one year.. and then when i came back i've totally changed my style and i can count on my fingers how many of my ex trusted contacts stood by me and helped me to start again. Christiane was one of them and i will always be grateful to her for that! Whether it is street scene, self portrait or nature shot she has got a very original special style. Her features are elegance, refinement, attention to detail and lightness.. Her images are above any Flickr fashion, external factors and influences what is really rare and valuable these days. But equally she incorporates new technical tools very organically into her art. I guess it is time to stop chatting and let you to enjoy her images. I am sure you would not have any regrets!

Je ne suis pas très fort sur les témoignages mais, dans le cas de madame Michaud, je vais faire une exception. Je cotois le stream de Christiane depuis un certain temps déjà et je suis très impressionné de son cheminement photographique. En fait, je sens depuis peu une sérieuse évolution de ses talents de photographe. Il me semble sentir une assurance et une maturité (dans le bon sens du terme) qui m'impressionne énormément. I had the great fortune to chance upon Christiane's photostream some months ago, and discovered a treasure trove of beauty, sensitivity and poetic images. Nature scenes through her eyes which conveyed to me far more than just a view. Great sensitivity, elegance and emotion but very delicately transferred. As well as these scenes though are her equally emotive compositions and beautiful concepts, and then there are scenes of her native city. I see through her photos a gentle and beautiful soul and the emotions they evoke move me very deeply. This is a beautiful photostream to be savoured and felt. I have known Christiane on flickr for some time now and I look forward to her uploads very much. She shows softness and feminitity with style and elegance in her images. She is able to perceive and show poetically with her images. Her images are more than just photos, and that was what attracted me to her and to her stream. A beautiful and gentle soul.... able to see more and deeply than just the superficial!! Christiane's works with sepia are amazing, I have not encountered such work on flickr (even though there's a lot of sepia out there)... her images are a dream and a poetry!! Beautiful work, most inspiring!! Keep it up!!
