As far as i can remember i always had a camera. My first camera was a Konica ( i think i was 6 or 7), with a wheel to pass manually to the next photo. I started taking diapositives and black&white pictures.

Then i had my first SLR, a Nikon F50, with which i used a 28-80 lens and a 28-200 Cosina lens (i couldn't afford anything better). The film pics you can see in my gallery were taken with that gear.

My jump to the digital world was with the Canon 350D XT, when i was really convinced that shooting digital could be similar in quality to the film world. I was stunned with this DSLR, so much easier to learn, so many ways to expand my creativity...

Then I switched to a Canon 40D,something more advanced and that felt much better (and heavier!). It was a fantastic camera, but when i had the chance to sell it, I was drawn into the great 7D, which is my current camera. I am still exploring its possibilities, but i love its semi-pro features, the size of the view finder, the sharpness of the LCS display and the HD video!

My favourite pictures are the portraits, since the way we capture the person at that moment is unique, and it is very challenging to capture their personality.

Some photographers i admire: Annie Leibovitz, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Mario Testino, Ramón Masats,Cristina García Rodero,Arnold Newman...

I often use Photoshop CS5 for enhancing, but mainly curves, levels, noise reduction, and some saturation. I wish i could have some more time to make use of its infinite possibilities. I also use Lightroom for a quick enhancing. I find it a great tool for fast editing and picture management.

This is my current gear:%0
