I'm a parttime photographer and parttime secretary. After my studies at one of the Academies of the Arts in The Netherlands, I worked some years fulltime as photographer, but now I divide my time between a steady job and freelance photography.

I enjoy Flickr on so many levels. While it's a great place for professional photographers to show their work, I enjoy it no less to put 'ordinary' snap shots on the site (you'll find quite a few cat shots in my photostream), and meet new people along the way. One day I use Flickr as a travel guide, the next as a way of finding information on some subject or other. And always I come across hundreds of beautiful, interesting and informative photos. Flickr is truly addictive.

My favourite subjects include land- and cityscapes, birds, animals in general and architecture. See anything you like? Then maybe take a look at my favourites as well, showing a lot of absolutely beautiful images by other Flickr-members.
