I was born in Mexico City; since very little I loved to draw, but it was not until my early 20′s that I took formal classes with Mr. Javier Estrada, outstanding Mexican painter. At the same time I was interested in some other forms of art like wood burning, jewelry design, enamels, gold gilding, inlaid designs, sculpture, etc. with Miss Edilia Montero at the Casa de la Cultura in Morelos as one of my instructors. With Ms.Imelda Morales, I learned film developing techniques in the darkroom and it was there that I started my “romance” with photography.

After finishing all my classes, for several years I was an art instructor in Cuautla and Ciudad Ayala, Morelos, México. In 1986 I moved to San Antonio, Texas where I started painting again in watercolors and pastels, then I moved to Florida and kept on painting in oils, but in December of 2008, I got my first DSLR camera and in January of 2009 I started taking classes with Ms. Fabs Forns; Mr. Karl Kowslosky, Mr. Diego Matrajt and Mr Robert Lino amongst other excellent instructors.

Now, with art background, I’m creating beautiful digital collages, and textured images that give me the freedom to express myself and also I'm giving private classes to those interested in learning this techniques.
