Inspired by raw and inhospitable places, secret gardens and idyllic meadows, the Shipping Forecast, a good cup of tea, music - that lifeblood that flows through us all, sepia photographs of nameless ancestors, staying up late to write by candle light, antique shops, taxidermy, books and maps.

The results of my inspiration turn out as varied as the inspirations themselves, watercolour paintings and illustrations, installations, prints, clothing and textiles.
