My curiosity ultimately lies in the layered meaning in images of the smallest of details. Objects as mundane as rusty hardware, the side of a metal trash barrel, and other relics past their prime are featured in many of my photographs. In addition, I enjoy photographing abstractions created by the reflective patterns on water and windows, peeling paint, and other surfaces. These images are more about the idea of capturing that very elusive millisecond in time and presenting something of interest and beauty with color, texture, pattern, and shape.
