My theme: perceptions on the world (that surrounds me)

The world is always in motion, and so am I in her. By profession, I analytically examine things to come. A rambler by nature, my camera offers me an extended perception of realities. In fact, it is only through the camera that I achieve the distance to objects necessary, and thus become able to interpret reality autonomously. Both approaches to the world have their merits. They communicate, interact, and meet in some of my works. My interest focuses on urban life. Here, engagement with architecture takes centre stage. Built reality, it is manifest expression of its builders’ respective expectations for the present and future. Photographs of landscapes symbolise the urban dweller’s craving for what they do not have. The corpus of my work is characterised by an ambition to create unusual perspectives on the world, its objects and relationships.
