I'm a self-taught wire jewellery craftswoman, with the help of countless wonderful youtube tutorials by people who REALLY know what they're doing ( to whom all I owe my humble thanks ). I started learning the art of copper wire weaving in September 2016, really very much by accident. I stumbled on one tutorial on wire weaving and soon I was devouring every tutorial I could find online. When I thought I had gotten the hang of it, I went and bought my first wires and started practicing (no, I won't be showcasing those first pieces anywhere in my albums ). Originally, I was inspired by Celtic and Viking jewellery, and it shows in my earliest pieces, but since those early days I've crafted jewellery pieces in Steampunk, Gothic and a few other styles I don't even have a name for. I find there is still so much to learn, new techniques, styles and materials.
