I am a 41 year old mother of one, daughter of two, sister of 3, aunt of 7, great-aunt of 2, spouse of none, and friend of only a few. I am a Christian, a vegan and a 20 year survivor of cancer. I love life, nature, water, lighthouses, animals, the color green, wood, dragonflies, equality, the truth, humanitarian efforts, my family and beauty, as I see beauty in all things. I frequently go off on tangents, but no matter how long it takes, I always seem to end up right back where I started. My favorite season is fall even though I love the way spring smells, summer feels and winter looks. I am blessed, happy, passionate, brutally honest (but not mean or cruel), caring, loyal, and affectionate. My face often hurts at the end of the day because of smiling and laughing. These things are just pieces of me and there are many, many other pieces of me. I try to learn something new everyday. I don't take anything for granted especially my family, life, health and strength. I am a simple person, but parts of me are complex. My family and friends would describe me as "different" if asked, but I am very comfortable in the skin I'm in. I am by no means conceited, but even though I am a work in progress, about 93.8% of the time, I like me. It doesn't take much to make me happy and I look forward to sharing pictures of thing that make me happy and touch me. Big shock here, but I am also long-winded and a tad hyper from time to time, so I will stop here :-)
