I am in between generations which makes me the youngest guy who thinks like I do and is into the things I am, but the oldest guy my age. I was the last of my friends to get a computer or use e-mail, get a cell phone (or even a pager way back when), buy a DVD player, and have yet to fully transcend from analog to digital photography (and doubt I ever will). I just this past year bought a TV that doesn't have any wood on it. My car is 30+ years old, my motorcycle is closer to 40. I had long hair up until somewhat recently, and am contemplating growing it back. I am a human anachronism. I grew up fascinated with mechanical things- all of them. Polaroid was a huge fascination to me because of how mechanical ingenuity met chemistry to make something magical in a time before cheap and easy digital photography. With over 25 years of experience playing with nearly every format of Polaroid camera and film ever produced, I like to think I have a few answers to stuff that many people will rarely if ever experience with these crazy old things- especially in the wake of the digital revolution. I hope I can help spread some of the things I have learned over the years and this experience can be put toward preserving this unique medium for generations to come.
