I'm just your average crazy IT guy. I have always been interested in photography and really enjoy it.

I am a big Olympus 4/3rds Fan. I am currently shooting with an E-5 but still own my E-510 as well. I started out with an E-500 2 lens kit, and moved to the E-510 when it came out. I was also an owner of an E-30 till the E-5 came out. I take all my images in RAW+JPEG now, I used to exclusively do RAW but I find more often than not Olympus JPEGs are just what the doctor ordered. I am currently processing Aperture 3, waiting to see if we are going to get a 4 before I start looking at LR4.

I mostly photograph my kids, but enjoy a lot of other kind of photography too. I find macro photography fascinating because of this tiny world you get to see.

I am also an avid iPhone photographer. I love shooting with it, and all the artistic outlets you have with the apps. I have so many photography apps, more than anything else I have on my phone :)

Recently I've been experimenting with out of camera jpegs. This has been a time saver for someone who doesn't have a lot of free time. I still like RAW but the E-30s jpegs are very good and are fine for a lot of what I do.

Photos taken by my wife mostly are from the Olympus 1030SW digital camera. This is a neat camera built to be nearly indestructible and water proof up to 33ft. We have a Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS on pre-order I'm pretty excited we should get some better quality photos out of.
