As a former blue-collar stiff and current armchair intellectual, my art work often takes its inspiration from the everyday family & working life that most of us lower and middle class folks share in common. Forklifts, pallet jacks, and back injuries; family living near, far, and gone from this world; dreams deferred and hopes that refuse to die... There is a wealth of invaluable stories to be gleaned from the boring daily lives of the not-so-rich or famous. I love sharing these stories through my art. It's my way of saying thank you to everyone who enriches my life with their own.
