I got my first camera when I was four -- a Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic. I still have it, but can never seem to find 126 film anymore. I've always taken pictures -- mostly snapshots on family trips, etc. In 2006, I bought a point-and-shoot digital to see if I liked this whole digital thing. I think I've taken more pictures in the last eight years than I did in the 38 years following the receipt of that Hawkeye.

I've enjoyed the instant feedback you get from digital cameras. It helps me become better by giving me a second (or third or twelfth) chance to get a shot right. I've taken a few classes and workshops to help further develop my skills and think I'll never stop enjoying photography or trying to become better at it. I welcome your feedback!
