RM Milam is a veteran of the US Army's elite Special Forces (Green Berets) and a former intelligence officer. He took part in special operations around the globe and served as an adviser in Africa. He has created designs, exhibits, murals, and environments for the Henry Ford Museum, the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, the Weedon Island Preserve, the Chickasaw Nation Museum, the Miami Children's Museum, the Science Fiction Museum, the Scriptorium, the Museum of the Everglades, and NASA's Virginia Air & Space Center.
