I’m a broadcaster, journalist, actor and musician, as well as an expert in the field of access and inclusion for disabled people.

I began my career as a musician, playing in bands and writing music for TV and film. I was a singer/songwriter with the bands Freak UK, Eroticis and the modestly named Scarlet Messiah. I also spent much of the 90′s working as club DJ, raising the roof at Bagley’s, Club UK and the Electric Ballroom to name a few. (Not that I can remember all of them… it was the 90′s).

After being spotted during a gig in my home town of Luton, I broke into the world of TV presenting which led to a successful career in the media. I am best known for presenting the Emmy award winning and BATFA nominated Channel 4 kids TV show Beat That, and my work as a lead reporter for the BBC2 disability magazine show From The Edge. I have presented documentaries for Channel 4 and BBC2 and presented items for Holiday, BBC News 24, BBC LDN News and Inside Out to name a few. In 2012 I performed in the Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony, and presented the in-game coverage of the wheelchair rugby. As well as TV I work in radio, including a three year run as a presenter/producer with my own music show for Total Rock Radio. Most recently I presented the Breakfast Show for BBC 3 Counties Radio and currently have my own 80′s music show in production. I also work as a writer and journalist, with articles published in The Independent, Best For Music, Skin Two, Pure and The News of the World. I am now the fashion and lifestyle columnist for Disability Now Online and have a regular column in PosAbility Magazine.

Alongside my media career I have built a successful access advisory service, advising businesses on best practice regarding accessible procedure within their business structures and accessible design of their premises. I am the resident access advisor to Camden’s Stables Market and am advising the market’s owners, Stanley Sidings Ltd, on the designs for their new development in the heart of Camden Town.

Oh, I’m also very happily married and live in the heart of Camden.
