It's an honor that you're looking at my work. Thank you.

I've been shooting trains & such for more than four decades. Started out in the American Northeast, and landed in the Midwest in the late 1980s. Took a hiatus for a while in the mid 1990s, but then a Canon Digital Rebel in the early 2000s got me back into photography. Today, I get out when I can, focusing on anything from the little-known, lightly-trafficked Union Pacific Shoreline Subdivision, just a few miles from my home, to the Alco-powered shortlines of Pennsylvania and New York.

I primarily use Canon cameras, and have been very impressed with Sigma's new lenses. About two-thirds of my photos these days are captured on an EOS-70D with a Sigma 24-105mm f4 lens. There is also an aerial photography platform in service.

Here's to good photography. Cheers!
