Always loved the craft and started off in the mid '70s when I bought my first camera, a Canon FTb (since given to my professional photographer son Dan) - also gave him my Canon New F1 camera as he loves film, and am left with my Canon 500D. One day will acquire a 5D.

Especially enjoy doing land- and seascapes and working in monochrome. And when I am busy with the sea or the mountains or have a stand of trees in my viewfinder, I always think of these words, by T S Eliot:

"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing to find the place where all the beauty comes from."
