Been taking photos as a hobby since 2002. Started out with a Kodak DX3900 that could capture a whopping 3 megapixels. A few years later, I upgraded to the Canon Powershot G6, which is a great point and shoot camera (still have it).
In 2008 I decided photography was more than just a passing hobby, so it was time for a DSLR. I purchased a Canon 450D (Rebel XSi). Started with the kit lens, then added the 50mm f1.8, the 70-200 f4L, and finally replaced the kit lens with the 17-55mm f2.8 IS. Took about 40,000 photos with that camera across North America, Europe, and Asia.
By the time 2012 came around, my 450D was wearing out (went through one shutter and the card interface wasn't as reliable anymore). I decided to upgrade to a full frame Canon 5D Mark II. I couldn't use the 17-55mm lens anymore, so I traded it in for a 24-105.
Here's my current kit:
Canon 5D Mark II
Canon 24-105mm f4L IS
Canon 70-200mm f4L
Canon 50mm f1.8 II
Hope you enjoy viewing my photos as much as I enjoy making them.
