Having always loved taking pictures I decided to finally bite the bullet and buy myself a DSLR in January 2011. Under the guidance of a very close friend (and a superb photographer) I began shooting as much as I could.

Fortunately 2011 also brought a great deal of travel so my first year with my camera brought me plenty of opportunities to get out there and really get myself moving with photography. I was lucky enough to visit Copenhagen (Denmark), Iceland, Las Vegas and New York all in 2011.

Having developed a love for HDR photography, thanks in large part to Trey Ratcliff and his blog Stuck In Customs (www.stuckincustoms.com/), this is the direction I went in for a lot of my photos however I have been working on developing a much broader style.
