About me…
I remember the first photo that made an impression on me, it was of the sun sparkling off the water as I viewed through the trees. I still have that photo, it doesn’t look as good as in my minds eye, but I still like it.
I intermittently pick up the camera over the next 30yrs, nothing that held my attention though until recently. The following happened in rapid succession and helped draw me deeper into the photography - course on Photography basics, Purchased Pentax Kx, intro to Adobe Lightroom, Flickr.
I consider myself to be a novice photographer; I quite often don’t have the camera set properly. I quite often can recognize the interest or beauty in an area but can’t put my finger on it until post processing, where I crop the image I sensed initially.
I only have one kit lens 18-55, and I’m doing well with it, but I can see were getting something on the wide-angle and telephoto sides will open my captures greatly.
