Only come across Mike recently and it appears his photographic skills are close to perfection judging from what he posts on flickr. How he manages to get these totally amazing shots is well beyond me or my imagination. Seems every frame is perfect right down to shutter speed and clarity to die for. Mike must spend hours out there getting these perfect shots and only posts stuff which is close to perfection. Bird shots taking off from water even capture minute detail like water drops from the feet or beak depicting direction of movement etc. Mike has managed to capture his subject in a manner that we can all live this dream and enjoy it from the comfort of our computer screens. These wonderful birds appear natural and alive and a lot of their masterful arts like flight are portrayed beautifully within his shots. Mike is a purist and does not need Photoshop or other tools in order to enhance his shots. What you see is what Mike saw and captured, beautiful blue skies and magnificent birds in the wild doing what they do best.
