Hi,
I'm the assistant curator at the Museum of Natural History, Roger Williams Park, Providence, Rhode Island, USA, Rhode Island's only natural history museum. Some of my geological interests include planetary geology, pegmatites and aplites, trilobites, and the Avalonian terrane of southern New England. I also have a passion for British and Irish mines and minerals. I get to play with rocks and explain geology to children and teachers from Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southern Massachusetts. Not a bad way to spend the day. Besides the minerals, I curate the paleontology, entomology, arachnid, marine biology, and oology collections.
My personal interests include birding, spiders and other arachnids, butterflies, photography, the Boston Red Sox, and a pint (or two) of Guinness.
