My name is Michiel van der Arend and I live in The Netherlands. I have always had a fascination for aviation and photography. Combining the two is what I like best. But I also like cars, watches, sports nature and lots of other things.

I shoot with Canon gear. The pictures on this site have been shot with a 50D, 70D and 1DMKIV. Lenses are the 50MM 1.8, 28-135mm, the 17-40mm L, the 70-200mm F4 L and the 100-400mm L. Post is done in DxO Optics Pro8, Lightroom and Photoshop.
