My area of photographic interest lies in toned monochrome landscape. I particularly like the panoramic format and often like to work with infrared and lith combinations.

Originally a traditional darkroom photographer I now shoot a mixture of film and digital with the former scanned in and processed in photoshop rather than the darkroom.

To my mind, neither darkroom not digital are superior; they merely represent different sides of the same coin. It is entirely irrelevent whether an image has been dodged with my waving hand under an enlarger or with the click of a mouse. What matters is the decisions and judgements made in the mind to achieve the intended end result.

Of course, digital does have a pragmatic advantage in that I now no longer waste a lot of photographic paper!
