I grew up at the beach in San Diego, CA, and am lucky enough to still live here. When I'm not working or surfing or hiking or camping or backpacking or being a dad and husband, I enjoy making photos.
My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at age 9. She's a healthy college student now, but our experience with cancer diagnosis and treatment was intense, and we learned a lot. One thing we learned is less than 4% of federal research funding for cancer treatment is allocated for childhood cancers. Our kids deserve more than 4%!
Feel free to contact me if you'd like to purchase a print (mikebordersphotography@gmail.com).
50% of all profits will be donated to childhood cancer organizations (Make-a-Wish, Alex's Lemonade, American Childhood Cancer Organization). Thanks!
