I grew up in the small(ish) town of Miri, Malaysia. At 15 years of age we moved to Christchurch, New Zealand where I finished high-school and my undergraduate degree. I then moved to Sydney, Australia where I pursued and recently completed my postgraduate studies.

My love of photography perhaps began while admiring the countless stunning images in the National Geographic mags that my Dad subscribed to when I was a kid. While I did not take up photography seriously, I remember secretly playing with my Dad's old Canon EOS650. My interest in photography was revived when I bought a Canon G3 in 2002. I have since moved up to a Canon 350D, then a Canon 40D, and now my new baby, a Canon 5D Mark II ;).

I still have a lot to learn about photography and I hope I can improve by sharing my work with all the good people on flickr. Enjoy, and feel free to comment!
