Pretty much all my theatre photos are no longer here on Flickr. As of early 2019 I chose to make my Flickr account essentially static and reduce the number of photos, as the increasing cost of Flickr Pro membership far (far!) outweighs its value to me. So for the latest of my photography endeavors check out the Historic Theatre Photos website, or Instagram accounts @thatmikehume and @historictheatrephotos.

Equipment history: started off with a manual 35mm Olympus SLR, moved onto a Sony Cybershot in 2005, then a Canon 400D in 2006, and since 2008 the truly superb Canon 5D Mk II. My "go to" lens is the 16-35 f/2.8L II, the others in my bag are the 70-200 f/2.8L IS and (less so) the 24-105 f/4L IS. Plus a 600EX-RT Speedlite for those dark theatres!
