MikaScott is a collaboration between a German goldsmith named Mika and an American jewelry designer named Scott who live and create together in Berlin.

Mika has 16 years of experience as a metalworker and has worked extensively with goldsmiths in Germany and in South America, where he learned a traditional approach to making jewelry from Peruvian and Ecuadorian goldsmiths. His interest in metalwork has inspired him to read almost all German literature published on the subject since the late 18th Century. Scott works alongside Mika and lends her creative vision and background in the visual arts to the design of their jewelry.

We draw inspiration from our appreciation for the unique textures and forms found in the natural world as well as in the unconventional beauty of found objects. The jewelry we create reflects the value we place on precision work and we always try to produce pieces that hold individual meaning for clients at a high level of craftsmanship.
