Photo and camera enthuasist from Helsinki, Finland. Been photographing 30 years. Started early 90,s film era with 35mm Yashica Electro 35. Nowadays I use both digital and film gear. All my film cameras are medium format and Im big fan of those old vintage monsters! But more and more I find myself thinking that picture is a picture is a picture... So. It doesnt make really difference what gear you are using, its more about how and why you are using it...

 

My main intrest as a photographer seems to be archtitecture and buildings, nature, birds and all kind of vintage stuff...As I have grown older I have felt more and more comfortable in nature. Dreaming sometimes even about living in a countryside. One year ago I intrested about bird photography. Since... Im gone so grazy about it so I had to even change my whole digital photographing set to serve more those needs...

 

Studied art school 1996-2000 but creating fulltime career in art collapsed to my bad social skills and big problems with my emotional life caused by ADD that was diagnosed as late as I was 40 years old all ready. Still been working with a creative stuff trough all these years and have had exhibitions every now and then but Im doing day job with really different subjects.

 

I have done lots of soundwork, music, sculpturing, painting etc. But photography has came most important to me during last ten years and I do it as much I have time and money to put on it ( analog film, developing and scanning costs money)

 

And... After all I live quite happy life now with my little family... Most bad times are behind and I try to enjoy doing creative things I like.

 

Im not competing person and I thing we all should support each other. Everyone has its own style and own intrests... I allways try to preciate that and I think its most best way to develope... Being open to different things, share and give respect to the others. This world is too much about competing and I dont feel comfortable in thats kind of game.
