I am an admirer of individuals like you who have the art and ability to capture photos that are more than a picture but pull the viewer to feel and see an image that has a meaning to them. That is what I believe art is whatever medium the creator uses: paints, sewing, pottery, photography...anything creatively produced for the pleasure of doing it. Sharing one's art is even more special and to share it freely is important to people who can not afford to experience art forms. I say 'thank you' because your photos are beautiful and my husband, Pete, has always held a special fascination of Easter Island. Just now and again one comes upon someone who is more gifted than most in his chosen form of expression - in this case photography. Although it is most unlikely that Miguel and I will ever meet, through Flickr I have discovered his photostream and this has enriched my life.
