Hobby photographer with the luck of having been to some amazing places, knowing and being allowed to photograph some amazing people, and having a pretty nice camera.

I shoot with a Nikon D-90 with a telescopic lens, and that's about all I care about as far as technicality goes. I am strictly hobby. I know the lack of technical knowledge limits me, someday I will learn more. In the meantime I will continue to chase my toddler daughter and pray for beautiful sunny days and well-lit spaces.

I love to photograph my travels, interesting visits, beautiful and interesting people, my family, and my sewing creations.

Occasionally I play with some special editing techniques on Coral Paint Shop Pro XI or using the Camera Bag app on my iPod. I have found a real joy in cloning and the use of vector layers to create images a little more creative than my usual shots.

In other people's work, I enjoy dark and macabre imagery and those that evoke powerful emotions. Really cool stuff that I can't do always interests me as well.
