I'm prone to photographing wildlife. At length.

Despite this I do manage to point the camera at other things from time-to-time. Sometimes (though this is rare) I even get pictures I'm half happy with.

I'm also prone to being po-faced, overly dramatic, mixed-up and critical. But that's another story entirely. :-)

I'm a lazy photographer; I carry my compact camera around and snap at things I see, so the fact I rarely get anything I'm aesthetically happy with is no big surprise or disappointment. Most of the time I get things I find interesting, record an event or help my recollection. The ones I upload here are ones I think others might want to share or represent something I have doubts about.

In many ways I prefer to look at other people's pictures and in these my tastes vary as wildly as the framing, angles and post-processing I use to edit my own offerings.

If I've added you as a contact, it will be because I see something in your stream that I like. I don't expect to be added back, though obviously I will feel complimented if you do so.

Takes a bird, waits for a flash of personality and clicks at exactly the right moment. I was going to say 'fires' but that's something else. Even her dying orchids have charisma.
