We are Michele Pennati and Daniela Mauri, a married couple based in Italy. We love nature and we practise nature photography in our free time.

Most of our pictures are done in places that are close to our home: even if we live in a very urbanized land, there are places that still offer a contact with nature giving us interesting photographic opportunities and a surprising variety of environments: the plain south of Milan gives way to the north hills and rivers in Brianza, then to the lakes and the peaks of the Pre-Alps.

In our opinion photography is a tool to immerse ourselves in a natural environment and we try to communicate subjective visions and feelings, rather than objective appearances.

We want to share the beauty of the subjects that fascinate us, also we hope that our pictures ‘ll be useful to get curiosity and knowing in environmental topics and to understand the need for preserving nature.

Our postproduction work is only the standards of raw conversion, levels and curves; our work is focused on the shooting by use of light, camera motion and multiple exposures.
