I am Michelle, also known as Ellie (formally Mickie,). I live in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, a county I know well and love. I have been around cameras for most of my life and was encouraged to use my parents SLRs as a child, until I bought my own Pentax ME Super whilst at Art college.

My favourite kinds of photography are Macro, black and white and nature, especially trees.

I did used to own a Fuji Finepix S5800 which was an excellent little bridging camera and perfect for my small hands...lol But now I have returned to a previous love, the SLR...well the modern version, a DSLR. A Canon EOS 60D, which I love. Now I'm refreshing knowledge that had been buried. Very exciting.

I am also a fan of Paint Shop Pro and have found opportunities to be a little more creative with some of my less exciting photographs :-)
