creating a testimonial about micky, how can I dare to do so, as a rookie in photography and not knowing her in person… but nevertheless i feel the need to try! writing about the quality of her images in fact means “to send owls to athens”! technical aspects of the images, compositions, color management… simply perfect. so take the time to have a really intensive look over her complete stream… and maybe you will partially understand my fascination about her outstanding work. micky has de facto the ability to handle the full range of photography… portraits, landscapes, architecture. and as the “cherry on the cake”, to all these necessary base capabilities in photography, micky uses photoshop to its best. not creating spectacular effects, no… simply emphasizing the already existing beautiful contents of her images. but for me this is only the one aspect of the fascination, what makes her work so special. the other aspect… her personality. have a look on her profile, read her comments to some of her images, get even directly in touch with micky by email… and hopefully you will also “feel” her personality. she describes herself as “a wife, a mother and a grandmother”… i would characterize her as an outstanding personality. as a summary, as far as you can summarize such a testimonial… micky proofs the conclusion that a great image is done by the person, not the camera, to its best. as well as the content of an image it is also the personality of the photographer that creates the final fascination of the image… look at her work and you will see.
